Denmark - world's happiest place
Many travel to experience the world, but wouldn’t we want to find that special happy wonderland…
We came across a good article about “the happiest places on earth” a while ago. Actually, the headline on the front page caught our attention. It’s really a nice cheerful title, yet a rare one, since most news these days are mostly about unhappy matters… so it’s nice to see something different, something positive once in a while.
I guess it’s rather a surprise that the sunny california, florida, or hawaii or some other nice weather or wealthy countries/cities didn’t take the crown. Most of the happy places are in Europe or Asia Pacific except that Canada and Mexico made the list (yeah, go canuck) . But Europe has both the happiest and probably not less happy people after all.
“Switzerland’s citizens closely trail the Danish, each reporting an average happiness level of 8.1 (out of 10), followed by Iceland (7.8), Finland (7.7), Australia (7.7) and Sweden (7.7), all the way down to grim Moldova (3.5).”
Europe is indeed interesting… Although each country is so close to each other, they manage to maintain their own cultures, languages and identity. So if you want to have full experience of the happiness, pick up some new phrases of your travel destination and learn about their cultures before departure.
Bon Voyage.
